I build mobile apps
that feel truly native.
Nivedhitha Parthasarathy — Mobile engineer working across native iOS (Swift) and cross-platform React Native, with 6.5 years in software and production apps for telematics and EV fleets. Based in Amsterdam, no sponsorship needed.

Where I've worked
Worked on four production React Native apps for iOS and Android in telematics and EV fleets. Built FleetLive from base architecture to production, migrated Montra Electric Driver's data layer from AWS AppSync (GraphQL) to GCP REST APIs and upgraded it from React Native 0.68.5 to 0.72.5, and moved class components to functional components with Hooks and TypeScript. Handled versioning, App Store and Play Store releases and hotfixes through the team's GitHub Actions and Fastlane workflows, and wrote Jest and Detox tests for selected screens as a proof of concept.
About 2.5 years in the R&D team building iOS prototypes in Swift and UIKit with MVVM, including three for capital-markets and banking use cases, and 1.5 years in the product team building C# and ASP.NET middleware for a chatbot product.
Built several screens for a client's e-commerce iOS app in Swift (MVVM) and connected them to the app's API data.
Passed the Dutch civic integration exam as part of my visa process, moved to Amsterdam in May 2025, interviewed for mobile roles and kept building. Smart Meal Planner is a SwiftUI iOS app that builds meal plans from dietary preferences and nutrition goals, using MVVM, Combine and a Codable JSON service layer. I also completed a React Native take-home, CryptoApp. I use Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Claude day to day, and I'm learning Node.js to build on my C# backend experience and move toward full-stack work.
How I structure mobile apps
A predictable, scalable architecture that keeps features isolated, flows clear, and performance stable.
Screens, logic, and UI live together inside feature folders. Clear boundaries, no cross-feature leakage.
Local UI state stays local. Shared state lives in predictable containers with typed actions.
API calls live in one layer, so a backend change, like moving from GraphQL to REST, doesn't ripple through the screens.
Versioning, store submissions, hotfixes and crash monitoring are part of the work, so shipping stays predictable.
Let's build something worth using.
Open to mobile engineering roles, React Native or iOS, in the Netherlands, hybrid or remote. I have Dutch work authorization and don't need sponsorship.
